Grant guidelines
Applications will be considered for grants that enhance the student experience, innovate the classroom or assist in meeting essential classroom needs. We will consider individual teacher applications or collaborative projects that may include multiple classrooms, grade levels or schools.
Grant requests may be submitted by school/district administrators, classroom teachers, teaching assistants and media specialists.
Applicants can only receive one grant per school year. Schools may submit more than one application per site but duplicate requests will not be considered.
Cox Charities Education Grant funds must be used for the programs and/or supplies requested when applying. Grant funds should be used within the 2024-2025 school year.
Schools may reapply each year.
Grant limitations
The following will not be considered for funding:
Teacher development and/or substitute days
Student/teacher conferences
Financial compensation
Teacher travel and student field trips
